We are quick to adopt phrases such as ‘it is what it is,’ ‘it’s never that serious,’ and ‘you only live once’ among others. But when I think about it, these phrases often influence us to accept things as they are. You can also agree with me that we often, if not always, use these phrases when things aren’t heading in the right direction. With this in mind, the consequences of embracing these phrases are far from favorable. But then came the phrase ‘what if?’.

I prefer to be associated with this phrase because it is more positive compared to all the other phrases mentioned above. I’m an optimist and my optimistic view of every situation has often guaranteed better consequences or rather outcomes in life. But I also acknowledge that the phrase can be used by a pessimist for negative interpretations. Rather than seeing the brighter side, pessimists are often the prophets of doom spoiling the vibe or moment with negativity.

I created this category on Punch on Press to share my optimistic viewpoint on various issues in society based on my personal experiences and those of my friends. These will be some interesting stories that I hope will help you make better decisions and choose better paths. In this introductory post, I hope to encourage you to follow this ‘what if’ section. I also hope that you will subscribe to receive these posts via email as soon as they are published. This section will share stories and each story will have a moral value that can help you improve your livelihood.

You see, I want a world where we can all live ambitiously by having a positive viewpoint. Seeing the future not as our enemy full of negativity but as a serene environment where we can enjoy joy and happiness after getting through tragedies. I often share this vision with my close friends and they think of me as naïve, foolish, stupid, or all of them. I’m neither foolish nor stupid but I probably am naïve. But all I want is a better life for my children and your children. That’s why I never hoped for and saw the best in every situation. I hope to achieve this by showing you all that one can have a better life by choosing a better path. But how do they do all this?

By simply asking themselves, ‘what if?’ What if things get better? What is the future is, indeed, luminous? Look out for more content as I share my optimism through some intriguing stories. I look forward to addressing some important issues in our community. I hope you enjoyed this article if you did you might also like boy meets girl.
