Racism shows its ugly face in football, again.
Brazilian international Richarlison was racially abused in their friendly game against Tunisia in Paris.A fan threw a banana at the Tottenham forward after his goal in Brazil’s 5-1 win over the North African side. It has not yet been determined whether it was a Tunisian fan and the investigations are still ongoing. In his words Richarlison said that racism shall never stop until the governing authorities like FIFA start serious campaigns against it.
This comes after his fellow Brazilian International teammate Vinicius was also racially abused in Real Madrid’s game against Athletico Madrid.
